BDAN  A gospel minister in Akwa Ibom State, Min. Blessing Daniel, otherwise known as BDAN has  charged Christians to awaken their consciousness in  the knowledge of God's word and to seek the kingdom of God first and His righteousness.  The minister gave this charge Sunday  28th July, 2024 during a worship event at Foursquare Gospel  Church of Nigeria, Information Drive, Aka Etinan Road in Uyo.   Artificial Intelligence in Security Management: A'Ibom NSCDC Upscales Capacity of Directors, Others Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Akwa Ibom State Command, has ended a -one -day capacity building workshop for directors, managers and supervisors of Private Guards Companies (PGC), with a charge on industry players to embrace Artificial Intelligence and its tools for effective security management in diverse areas of operations. The one- day workshop was flagged off by the State Commandant, Engr. Eluwade Eluyemi, who restated that PGCs, by its ubiquitous nature, constitute a first line of intelligence gathering. He said the corps would  harness this potential to the fullest, and in view of this, it became necessary to train management staff of PGCs to scale up their capacities to contribute effectively to national security, using AI to source and process actionable intelligence. ENO  URGES SPEEDY DISTRIBUTION OF FG PALLIATIVES  Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has urged Local Government Transition Chairmen, Ministries of Agriculture, Local Government Affairs and other relevant agencies to ensure timely and transparent distribution of the palliatives provided by the federal and state governments to deserving citizens, to cushion the current hardship. A'IBOM POLICE IMPLEMENT ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY ON CRIMINALITIES, PARADE SUSPECTS  By Julius Nsikak  The Akwa Ibom State Police Command said it has adopted new strategies in combating evolving crimes and other criminal elements in a bid to sustain stability and peace in the state.
